Tall, flaky buttermilk biscuits are pretty easy to make and ridiculously better tasting than the biscuits peddled by KFC. We often make these biscuits ahead of time and tuck them in the freezer. Then, when breakfast calls we just pop them straight into a preheated oven and away they go. These biscuits are particularly enjoyable when turned into breakfast sandwiches similar to an Egg McMuffin.
